The Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is one of the classic Nepal treks offering spectacular views of the Annapurna massif. The trek is in an area which is protected by the 7,639 sq. km Annapurna Conservation Area. You will pass cascading waterfalls, beautiful villages, terraced farmlands and lush green forests of rhododendron, bamboo and pine trees on the way to the trip’s highest destination, Annapurna Base Camp at the height of 4130m. Overnight teahouse stays in villages such as Landruk, Chomrong, Dobhan and Deurali allow the opportunity to meet Gurung and Magar people where you can explore their traditional way of life, enjoy their hospitality and sample traditional Nepali food.
The Annapurna Region comprises thirteen peaks over 7,000m, the highest being Annapurna I at 8091m, the 10th highest peak in the world. The trek also offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South 7,219m, Machapuchare (Fishtail) 6,993m, Mt. Mt. Annapurna II 7,939m, Mt. Annapurna III 7,555m, Mt. Annapurna IV 7,525m, Mt. Lamjung Himal 6,986m, Mt. Hiuchuli 6,441m.
