Trip Overview

The Everest View Trek is a short and easy trek designed to provide trekkers with fabulous views of the world’s highest mountain and surrounding peaks without the strenuous activity required for some of the longer and more demanding treks. As well as the spectacular scenery, you will have the opportunity to stay in teahouses in traditional Sherpa villages and explore their traditional way of life, enjoy their hospitality and sample traditional Nepali food.

The adventure starts from Kathmandu with an exhilarating and scenic morning flight to Lukla, one of the most spectacular airfields in the world. From here we trek to the small village of Phakding to the north of Lukla. After spending the night here we head to Namche Bazaar, the capital and main trading centre of the Khumbu region. The following day is spent exploring the village and acclimatising as well as a short side trip to Khumjung. The following morning we head to Tengboche, the home of Nepal’s most famous monastery, with the impressive backdrop of Mt Everest. From here we head back to Namche Bazaar and on to Monjo for the night before returning to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu.

This trek is a great option for those with limited time who want to experience the remarkable scenery and unique culture that Nepal has to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

The trek starts and finishes in Kathmandu and includes flights to and from Lukla where your trek begins. In order to keep the trek cost as low as possible, we offer the flexibility for you to arrange your own accommodation in Kathmandu however we are happy to arrange this for you if you wish.
